NasgroPy is a Python-based tool designed to simulate crack propagation in aircraft structures, using NASGRO models and machine learning techniques. This project is based on my experience working inside the fuselage engineering team at Airbus, where I applied automation, AI, and agile methodologies in stress analysis and digitalization.
NasgroPy leverages the powerful NASGRO crack propagation models such as TC01 (Through Crack) and CC16 (Corner Crack), combining them with a Design of Experiments (DoE) methodology and machine learning techniques to develop surrogate models for airframe optimization. The goal is to automate the stress and fatigue analysis in a scalable and reliable way.
